Icon  Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) network 

The Black, Asian and Minority Ethic (BAME) network brings together colleagues across the organisation who want to support and advance race equality at CWPT. 

The network provides a space to socialise, share, challenge, and support advice in relation to race. We also aim to facilitate discussions and ideas that improve the experience of colleagues from culturally diverse communities and support diversity, equality and inclusion.

We work with our Head of Equality Diversity and Inclusion, HR, Trust board, and Freedom to Speak Up Guardians to consult and provide recommendations across the organisation. 

The network meets quarterly, and at other points in the year to plan for events such as South Heritage Month and Black History Month. 

How to get involved

The network is open to people who identify as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, and allies who want to support race equality at CWPT. To find out more and how to get involved visit the intranet. The link is only accessible to staff members logged into the Trust network.
