From an induction focused on your wellbeing to a range of statutory and mandatory training subjects to support you in your role, the training team are here to support your development.

The team provide opportunities to become a Mental Health First Aider and a First Aider at Work. They also provide management training for existing and aspiring managers alongside opportunities to access psychometric assessment to enhance your self development and coaching programmes, leading to nationally recognised qualifications.

Our head office, Wayside House, in Coventry is home to a fantastic Learning Hub. Training is also delivered in dedicated venues at Brooklands Hospital in Marston Green and Woodloes House in Warwick.

    The Improvement Team provide teaching, coaching, and mentoring to empower staff to make positive improvements.

    Our award-winning Psychological Skills Development Service offers training for staff based on psychological theory.

    We’re committed to evidence based practice and have four library facilities across the organisation.

  18. Reciprocal mentoring

    Reciprocal mentoring enables people in senior positions to learn from and understand issues from the perspective of people in less senior roles from under-represented groups.

  20. Appraisals and revalidation - medical staff only

    All medical staff (doctors) have a medical appraisal once a year to offer a chance to reflect.

    All staff have an annual appraisal to develop a clear career pathway and identify the support needed to help you get where you want to go.
