Icon NHS ambassadors 

Being an NHS ambassador is an opportunity to speak to young people and inspire them to consider an NHS career. Any staff member can be an NHS ambassador, and it is a great learning opportunity. Our ambassadors visit schools, participate in online 'sneak a peek' events, host work experience placements, become apprenticeship mentors, and much more.

How to join 

Anyone working at CWPT can join our NHS ambassadors programme. To sign up email  talentforcare@covwarkpt.nhs.uk or visit the Trust intranet for more information. The link is only accessible to staff members logged into the Trust network.

  13. Appraisals and revalidation - medical staff only

    All medical staff (doctors) have a medical appraisal once a year to offer a chance to reflect.
  14. Meaningful appraisals

    All staff have an annual appraisal to develop a clear career pathway and identify the support needed to help you get where you want to go.
  15. Learning and Development Team

    From an induction focused on your wellbeing to a range of training subjects to support you in your role, the training team are here to support your development.
  16. Talent for Care Team

    Our dedicated Talent for Care Team is in place to support the development of new talent and existing members of staff at CWPT.
  17. Apprenticeships

    We offer apprenticeships from Level 2 (GCSE equivalent) up to Level 7 (Master’s degree equivalent) and in both clinical and non-clinical subjects.
  18. Apprenticeship network

    The apprenticeship network is for anyone who is studying an apprenticeship at CWPT up to Level 4.
  19. Functional Skills

    We can support you to obtain your Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications in Functional Skills for Maths and English.

    Distance learning courses are a great opportunity to expand your professional skillset.
  21. The Care Certificate

    The Care Certificate is a national requirement to be completed by non-registered clinical staff in a health or social care setting as a part of their induction.
